What should I eat?
Age old question and it's complicated because you should eat according to your bloodtype, genomics, age, metabolic capacity, food allergies and intestinal microbiome demands and corrections of those demands.
If you are of Asian descent and you eat poultry, fish and shellfish you might be at higher risk for gout. According to a new study from Singapore, Chinese participants who ate more animal proteins were more likely to develop gout. Eggs, nuts, seeds and grains did not increase the risk of gout. In contrast to the high protein group those who ate soy and had a plant-based diet were least likely to develop gout.
