Taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for 14 days doubled the risk of serious bleeding in patients with atrial fibrillation. The risk of thromboembolism increased by 36%.  There has to be a better solution.
My mother had A-Fib and I have written about her comeback from a massive brain bleed due to the use of coumadin.  A recent study has implicated the use of NSAID's with serious bleeding in patients with A-Fib.
You might want to talk to your relatives who have A-Fib and find out if they are on prescription anti-inflammatories.

The risk is real and there is an alternative solution.   The risk is even higher when A-Fib patients take oral anticoagulants.  The answer is safe alternatives.

Diclofenac and naproxen were linked to the greatest increase in bleeding risk.  Of course, this research was done in Denmark where there is less of a pharmaceutical strong hold.

At Second Nature we prescribe DFH's Inflammatone, a safe anti-inflammatory, medication.  We also offer Naturopathic A-Fib protocols to protect your heart.
