Cancer research shows that women who recently used oral contraceptives had a 50% greater chance of developing breast cancer than that of women who formerly used or never used oral contraceptives.

It's imperative to take your B-vitamins as birth control pills rob your body of your B vitamins. It is equally important to stop smoking, reduce your electro-magnetic field exposures, exercise and eat an organic plant-based diet. Don't forget to test for MTHRF genetic differences and correct them.

I prescribe a Xymogen supplement regimen to reduce the risk of breast cancer especially if there is a strong family history.

Genetics is the smoking gun. Women who had loss-of-function mutations on the PALB2 gene were 9 times more likely to develop breast cancer. This equated to a 14% cumulative risk of breast cancer at age 50 and increased to 35% risk by age 70.

Researchers feel that the PALB2 mutation is classified as high risk and that level of risk would justify adding PALB2 to genetic testing with BRCA1 and BRCA2.  A known risk factor for cancer Germline PALB2 mutations affect about 0.08% of the population.  Whether you have any breast cancer gene mutations or not you still have to take care of yourself with adequate sleep, daily exercise, good food and excellent nutraceuticals that give good bang for the buck. Every cancer patient has leaky gut which has to be corrected first with GOOD GUT products.
