Calcium and Heart Health in Women

Calcium supplements may be linked to dementia in older women with cerebrovascular disease or who have had a stroke.

With a lack of calcium contributing to osteoporosis, older women are recommended to take about 1000 mg to 1200 mg per day. Supplements are often used to improve these levels.
A recent study evaluated women who were taking calcium supplements who had a history of stroke or cerebrovascular disease and women with neither.

Women who were taking the supplements were twice as likely to develop dementia compared to

those who did not take the supplements.

Women with white lesions present as in cerebrovascular disease were three times as likely to develop dementia,

Those with no history of stroke or cerebrovascular disease saw no increase in risk. Because the study was observational it is not possible to conclude that the supplements caused dementia.

Ozone therapy is a recognized anti-aging treatment that helps to lower blood pressure and get more oxygen to the brain.  A patient of Dr. E's was treated who has severe episodic hypertension with ozone inhalation.  Her blood pressure decreased by over 50 points in ten minutes with ozone and homeopathic remedies.

You need ozone for a healthy heart especially if you are a post-menopausal female. I.V. ozone therapy combined with ozone inhalation is the best treatment to improve ejection fraction, lipid panels and cardiac function outside of surgical interventions. All ozone treatments are ordered and supervised by an MD and administered by an RN in NY.
