Breast implants in France will now warn consumers after The French National Cancer Institute found a "clear link" between silicone implants and anaplastic large cell lymphoma AKA ALCL. And they are considering a general ban on silicone implants.

More about this ALCL cancer. It is rare and it is an aggressive type of non-Hodgkin's T-cell lymphoma that does affect lymph nodes, skin, bone, soft tissues, lungs and liver. This cancer only affects the breast in breast implant associated ALCL. ALCL is diagnosed in 3 in 100 million women per year in the US.
