Homeopathy treats people, not diseases. It is safe for newborns, pregnant women, the elderly, the very ill and highly sensitive individuals. Homeopathic remedies are very inexpensive and come in the form of liquids, small pellets or injectables. Manufactured in homeopathic pharmacies, these medicines are regulated and safe.

I'd like to recommend a terrific book called, "The Savvy Traveler's Guide to Homeopathy and Natural Medicine" by experts Judyth Reichenberg-Ullman ND and Robert Ullman ND. You may want to pack their new book which details about how to choose the correct homeopathic remedy along with the recommended remedies.

I can order specialized complex remedies from another source for traveler's diarrhea, constipation, acute musculoskeletal trauma, insomnia, food poisoning, pesticide protection, radiation protection, parasite and worm treatment, geopathic stress, high altitudes, allergic reactions to environmental or food proteins, migraines, overindulgence of food and drink, bladder infections and exhaustion.

Don't forget to pack your homeopathic traveling medicine kit.  Your fear of flying is easily remedied with Aconitum napellus or Arsenicum album.  Carry Apis mellifica for bites and stings and Arnica montana for blunt injuries.  Cantharis is great for sunburns and severe bladder infections.  If you ate too much and you're bloated; you're cold, but want to be uncovered or fanned then Carbo vegetabilis is your remedy.  One too many times on the rollercoaster or ferris wheel deserves Cocculus indicus to stop the motion sickness. Traveler's flu needs Gelsemium sempervivens.  Ledum palustre is good for puncture wounds and sprained ankles. Stomach cramps, heartburn, sinus headaches are soothed with Nux vomica.  Don't let traveler's diarrhea ruin your trip.  Take Podophyllum for that explosive diarrhea with abdominal cramps that forces you out of bed at 4am with profuse, gurgling, rumbling, gushing painless stool.  If you experience stiff joints or your acute or chronic arthritis is bothering you take Rhus toxicodendron.  It's useful for poison ivy and shingles too.
