Gut Bacteria Can Save Your Baby's Life

As a practitioner and human at large I love the intestinal microbiome.  I plan on balancing it, preserving the good, better and best bacteria and undoing the detrimental medical campaigns to eliminate life-supporting bacteria. Bacteria sustains our life force.

Your health for life begins at conception. It mirrors your mom's intestinal health. The bacteria balance in her gut predetermines your future health patterns and affects your innate genetics. We get colonized with trillions of cells in preconception, pregnancy, birth and after we are born. Having a vaginal birth and being breastfed are critical components to develop a functional immune system that guards against environmental toxicity.

One in three babies in the US is born via C-section today. This issue is so important that researchers are trying to find a way for C-section babies to be inoculated with bacteria from their mom's vaginas. American children on average have taken 17 courses of broad-spectrum antibiotics which kill the good and bad bacteria.

The placenta is teeming with bacteria (over 300 kinds) that support the development of the baby's digestion, brain health, liver, kidneys, heart, metabolism - all organ systems. An infant's health is determined by this bacterial life force that was once thought sterile. The placenta is less than 10 percent bacteria by mass as compared to the intestine which is 90 percent bacteria.

Bacteria in the placenta closely match bacteria in the mouth and the baby's intestines in the first week of life. One theory is that mom's oral bacteria from the mouth travels through the bloodstream to the placenta where it crosses the blood barrier to the baby. Babies get colonized in the womb with mom's bacteria. It's why women with periodontal disease have a higher risk of premature or low birth weight babies.

I'm on a mission to revive, recolonize and preserve the microbial diversity for everyone on the planet.  To fulfill my mission, I am offering discounts on all GOOD GUT products.  Contact our office to make your GOOD GUT order (mention this blog post).
