Migraines - More than a Headache

When migraine symptoms go beyond the headache.

Migraine is not just diagnosed by the presence of headache alone. Patients can present other symptoms such as nausea, phonophobia and movement sensitivity. Premonitory symptoms are related to the hypothalamus and include concentration problems, tiredness, irritability or depression. These can be caused by "Migraine triggers" such as lack of sleep, hunger or exposure to bright lights.

In a subtype of migraine called Familial Hemiplegic Migraine (FHM) patients may experience aura and at least one limb weakness. Visual aura with migraine typically begins prior to the headache phase, but can occur at the same time or independently as well. The majority of migraine sufferers however do not experience visual aura.

I recommend Xymogen's OptiMag Neuro before bed, CoQ10 Ubiquinol and BActiv in the morning with breakfast. Magnesium is utilized in over 300 biochemical reactions in our bodies. We need to supplement to keep up with supply and demand. Some individuals require anywhere from 600 mg per day up to 2400 mg.

Order Xymogen
