New Hope for The Fight Against Cancer

Cancer cells better hide! There's a Cancer killer on the loose! Researchers have found a mechanism in the body that sends specialized immune cells that will detect and kill cancer cells.

The cells are appropriately named the natural killer cells. They hunt down the foreign cells in the body, including cancer cells that spread and form tumors.

Scientists have found the "switch" that turns these cells on and off. It's a protein called ID2, which works by allowing the killer cells to become responsive to growth factors in the blood. Another factor is a growth factor called IL-15 that keeps the cells alive and active.

Previous studies have shown that these killer cells are really good at what they do. They have been very efficient in killing tumors in the breast, colon and melanoma cells. The killer cells were not a new discovery, but with the science of how to activate them this can lead to strategies for regulation of these cells.

Targeting the switch that turns them on and off could open the door to a whole new set of treatment methods.

This is the first time scientist have figured out how to essentially "trick" the body's own immune deficiencies in cells using the ID2 switch and IL-15 growth factor. This would cause an immune cell to become a killer cell.

We get into the cells and hit cancer where it hurts too. Safe and effective I.V ozone therapy fills the cells with oxygen making your cells healthy and drives out cancer.

Give us a call, we can discuss treatment options that you may not have realized you had. If you're over 50 I have an anti-cancer protocol just for you because as we age our risk only increases.

We also stand firm that your health starts in the gut. Regulating your gut and intestinal microbiome is necessary for leading a healthy lifestyle, whether you've been diagnosed with cancer or not.
