Stop asthma in the first three months of life with these 4 gut bacteria
You need probiotics and your baby needs probiotics in the first three months of life to stop asthma. Infants can be protected from getting asthma if they get 4 gut bacterium by three months of age in theory. This comes from preliminary research done with germ-free mice in a Canadian trial. The first hundred days of life outside the womb is a critical time of immune system development. The bacterium in the study sound like foreign countries - Faecalibacterium, Lachnospira, Veillonella and Rothia. Some babies get these bacterium naturally and many need probiotic supplementation. An infant's immune system is shaped by the intestinal microbiome of it's mother in utero. Altered maternal microbiome can predispose an infant to certain disease patterns.
Check out the original Canadian research. Although this is not available for humans yet, these bacterium will be useful if they are integrated into a probiotic for infants to prevent asthma. All babies are born with leaky gut and that is why breastfeeding is an important step in preventing future disease. Human colostrum seals the leaky gut mucosa in infants.
For everyone else, I recommend Xymogen's ProbioMax DF daily. It's clear that probiotics are a foundational element in the development of the immune system and can be used to protect against future diseases.
