Your baby's intestinal microbiome development during the first 6 months of life influences their developing immune system for life. The immune system either increases or decreases the risk for allergies and asthma.
We can manipulate your baby's immune system with daily probiotics, immunoglobulins and healthy exposures to the greater microbiome. You want to make the most influence on the microbiome when it is young and flexible.
Breastfed babies have more diversity in their microbiome. Formula-fed babies are dominated by Lachnospiraceae species and have an increased risk to have pet allergies.

Breastfed babies have the lowest arsenic levels compared to formula fed babes. Arsenic might be in the powder or the water used to make baby formula. Don't forget to test your water especially if you have a well. Arsenic can naturally occur in bedrock where it leaches into your well water. Private wells are not regulated like municipal water supplies.
Breaking news about asthma . . . .
Your child's risk of asthma increases if you drink large amounts of sugar sweetened beverages during pregnancy. It increases 22% in children whose mothers consumed large quantities of fructose during the second trimester of pregnancy.This risk appears again if your 2 year old consumes high amounts of fructose. Sugar is the driver for asthma.
