But who knew that Argentina grew Monsanto GM crops? Is this why this region has staggering cases of cancer and birth defects? Could it be from the daily spraying from small airplanes over the crops?  

Agrochemicals are sprayed from small airplanes and when the wind shifts these chemicals come into nearby homes.  Argentina is one of the world's largest GM soya producers. 20 million hectares are under cultivation. Chaco was known for cotton and beef, but soya rules the landscape now.

Proton pump inhibitors were prescribed to decrease the risk and development of esophageal cancers. A nationwide study in Denmark of almost 10,000 patients newly diagnosed with Barrett's esophageal showed that no cancer-protective effects from the proton pump inhibitors were found. Long-term use of proton pump inhibitors was associated with a significantly increased risk of adenocarcinoma and high grade dysplasias.
