Even Andy Warhol did not know what was in the can of soup even though he was a genius at using the iconic image.

The debate is over. We know what's in the can of soup thanks to new Stanford and John Hopkins universities's research. If you eat canned goods then you are slowly being poisoned by a hormone-disrupting chemical called Bisphenol A, or BPA. This chemical is linked to diabetes, cardiovascular disease, brain abnormalities, sexual differentiation issues and other health concerns.

Food cans and jar lids contain the BPA resins. The more canned goods you consume the higher your BPA levels in your body and in your urine concentrations.

What are the worst offenders? Canned soup, canned pasta, canned vegetables and fruits.

I remember growing up with canned fruit cocktail in the winter because you could not get fresh or frozen fruits. We would top it off with Cool Whip - another petroleum by-product. Now you can stock up on frozen organic unsweetened fruits all year round.

I recommend taking Xymogen's XenoProtX daily because this nutraceutical helps to offset our toxic exposures daily. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water to flush your system. You can add 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda, lemon or lime to alkanalize your system.
