Knee Osteoarthritis. We have treatment for all types at Second Nature Care.
Did you know there are four subtypes of knee osteoarthritis?
These 4 subgroups show different patterns of structural degeneration.  They present with different symptoms, rates of progression and have different risk factors. OA stands for osteoarthritis.
Type I showed structural OA changes in the medial compartment with no denuded bone.  Body Mass index was higher in Type I and II meaning this group was less active. Knee misalignment and joint space narrowing was the worst in Type I. Symptom intensity and severity without progression was seen in Type I. Type I was more obese, more female and had the lowest incidence of reported trauma. This mild osteoarthritis is viewed as a metabolic disorder. I regulate blood sugar issues in this group with Xymogen's CinnDromX and a paleo-oriented diet.
Type II showed denuded bone on both the tibia and femur. Progression was more lateral in Type I, II and IV.
Type III showed more OA progression in the lateral compartment only, but had the fewest clinical symptoms.  Type III had denuded bone in the tibia. Type III and Type IV had lower BMI and more evidence of trauma.
Type IV had more OA medial compartment changes, more osteophytes and medial sclerosis with less joint space narrowing, the most knee trauma, medial progression of disease and the most aggressive osteoarthritis.

No matter which subtype of osteoarthritis you may have we have treatments to eliminate inflammation and pain. We can change your diet, do prolozone anti-inflammatory injections and prescribe advanced nutraceuticals to regenerate your cartilage, ligaments and joints. Xymogen has 4 different formulas for degenerative joint disease.
