Our gastrointestinal tract loves the good live bacteria that is found in yogurt, kefir, miso and sauerkraut.

And you know from my previous blogs that the "microbiome" regulates everything in your body.  Even more benefits are being discovered.

A  meta-analysis from New Zealand found that probiotics lower blood pressure. Elevated blood pressure is a silent killer when it is undiagnosed as it leads to an increased incidence of cardiac arrest and stroke. Eating or taking supplemental probiotics reduced the risk of cardiovascular mortality, Myocardial infarction and stroke by 22%.

GOOD GUT probiotics start at 100 billion and most of our patients get 200-300 billion per day. GOOD GUT products far exceed the daily dose used in the clinical trials. Our strains have all been in double blind studies to show efficacy. The best part is that our probiotics are dairy-free.

Many probiotic brands tout their effectiveness at date of manufacture, but you want strains that are viable or alive when you take them. Our probiotics are nitrogen sealed - no moisture gets in to reduce their effectiveness.

If you have high blood pressure you can do something about it today.  Start taking GOOD GUT probiotics and reduce your risk of cardiovascular events.
