This can be done through eating food that contains metals like fish, drinking water from old pipes, working with metal in your day to day, taking medications or supplements that have high amounts of metals. And metals are transmitted from mother to fetus. Heavy metals that cause poisoning are so small that you will never notice them entering your body. They can enter through your skin, breathing and eating or drinking. Some signs that heavy metals have invaded your body are abdominal pain, chills, chronic dehydration, feeling weak, nausea or vomiting, scratchy feeling in your throat or numbness sensations in your hands and feet. Cognitive issues may also be present, as well as joint pain.
