More than milk is in our milk supply. Environmental Detox. Second Nature Care

Drinking cow's milk is hazardous to your health and here's why.

Our milk industry is not well-regulated to find illegal chemicals.  Cows are treated with several medicines to fight illness that is fostered by the conditions they are forced to live in and these medications fatten up cattle in less time with less feed.

I can't believe the celebrities that endorse "got milk" commercials.  If you've got milk you are damaging your gastrointestinal tract, supporting barbaric animal conditions and planting the seeds for an antibiotic-resistant apocalypse.

These same medications go into you every time you drink a glass of milk.  Some of these chemicals are hazardous to your health and from cow to you perpetuate the rise of antiobiotic-resistant organisms. This is bad for everyone.

Clean your blood from toxins with ozone therapies. Ozone catches and kills bacteria, viruses and fungal infections while it leaves your healthy cells alone. Second Nature Care Environmental Detox.

The US FDA was supposed to see if medicines given to cows turned up in your glass of milk. They collected data over the past 4 years and have the results which have not been released for 2 years. Wonder what they found and what they don't want consumers to know about.

There are supposed to be federal guidelines on what drugs and the quantity of those drugs can be present in milk and animal tissues.  This means that farmers must allow enough time for those drugs to cycle out of the animal's systems before bringing their products to market.

Raw milk is checked for antibiotics.  If there is too much pencillin or amoxicillin the milk is thrown out. BTW drug residues are not destroyed by cooking so if you have a life-threatening allergy to penicillin eating meat or drinking milk could be fatal.

Another drug tested for is flunixin - an anti-inflammatory used for pain relief in cows.  In humans, flunixin causes gastrointestinal ulcers and kidney damage. Gentamicin, illegal to use, has been found in milk as recent as November 2014.

2 million Americans are infected with antibiotic-resistant bacteria each year and 23,000 die as a direct results of those infections.

Dairy cows have more drug residues. One dairy farm can produce both meat and milk, BUT because the products are tested separately by different agencies drug residue animals can be killed and the farm can still sell milk. A missed opportunity to share information for the public's well-being.

Of course the International Dairy Foods Association is delighted that the FDA has not shared its findings. The party line is that "we don't think they found anything terrible or anything that required immediate action."  The FDA will not provide a specific release date of their findings.

Who do you trust?

I would not wait for an answer from the FDA. Take matters into your mouth and make your own plant-based nut or seed milks, find a raw milk distributor for cow, goat or camel milk or buy convenient ready-made non-dairy milks in the grocery store. Organic cow's milk sold in stores does not guarantee that there are not drug residues.
