IBS

You have options when treating your IBS.

A diagnosis of IBS typically comes after a patient has been struggling with a variety of gastrointestinal issues and there have been no structural or biochemical abnormalities found ruling out some other and more severe GI disorders.

Specific strains of probiotic have been shown in placebo-controlled trials to be effective in IBS cases along with slight dietary modifications and antimicrobials.

New evidence is showing diverse changes in the microbiome of IBS patients, response to subgroups to antibiotic and the risk factor of a previous GI infection suggest organic pathology in some IBS patients.

At Second Nature Care we have the tools to help you take control of your IBS. We offer the ALCAT Test and can work with you to identify trigger foods and create a diet that will work best for you at  alleviating the symptoms of IBS.

We check for immediate food allergies or IgE, hidden food allergies IgG and we offer a complete stool profile to identify intestinal pathogens.

We also offer our Good Gut Program. The gut microbiota directs how the immune cells behave in other parts of the body.  Microbes in the gut shed proteins, carbohydrates and other molecules that can leave the gut and play a role in either conjuring up or suppressing disease. Bacterial metabolites are present in many body tissues - lungs, amniotic fluid and breast milk. I.V. Nutrients, Good Gut products and dietary changes can keep you in remission and reverse IBS.

Eliminate IBS and other chronic diseases with Good Gut Program.

Second Nature Care has got all your IBS needs covered.
