Frankie sniffs out cancer. Second Nature Care has cancer prevention and treatment protocols.

What do dogs have to do with thyroid cancer? Read and find out.about Frankie . . . .

Before I mention Frankie, let's talk about why breast cancer survivors have a higher risk of thyroid cancer compared to the general population. It is much stronger for younger breast cancer survivors within 5 years of their breast cancer diagnosis.  This group had smaller tumors, tall cells and a greater percentage of invasive ductal carcinoma.

Iodine deficiency is linked to both breast and thyroid cancer. Clinically, I find chronic inflammation in both cancer groups from food allergies, elevated metals and high viral loads especially Epstein-Barr and Herpes 6. Please share this post with those with breast cancer.

I treat breast and thyroid cancer with adjunctive protocols that are complimentary to surgery, chemo and radiation. I just saw an old patient from 2009 who was recently diagnosed with non-smoke-related lung cancer and we constructed a great nutritional plan to boost her immune system post-chemo.

If you are a breast cancer survivor you need to schedule a nutritional consult to review your dietary plan. You can be tested for nutrient deficicencies which are easy to correct. I use Quest, Labcorp and SpectraCell for accurate results.

Let's get back to Frankie the dog who sniffs out thyroid cancer cells in urine with 90% specificity.  This German Shepherd identified 30 out of 34 samples that later matched the final surgical pathology diagnosis.

Scent detection by trained dogs is noninvasive, inexpensive and highly specific. In Italy, dogs sniff out prostate cancer with 99.2% sensitivity and 97.1% specificity. Other dogs have sniffed out breast and lung cancer cells in breath samples.

Standard cancer testing is extremely expensive and runs up to 4,000 per test, but dogs are cost-effective.

We don't have cancer-sniffing dogs at Second Nature, but we have great cancer prevention and treatment protocols. Our patients with cancer who are doing I.V. ozone treatment are doing well.

Woof Woof to Frankie who puts his nose in his business to sniff out cancer. We say stomp out cancer and Frankie says sniff it out.
