Vitamin C for AFIB

Do you have AFib or atrial fibrillation?

Atrial fibrillation (also called AFib or AF) is a quivering or irregular heartbeat (arrhythmia) that can lead to blood clots, stroke, heart failure and other heart-related complications. At least 2.7 million Americans are living with AFib.

Normally, your heart contracts and relaxes to a regular beat. In atrial fibrillation, the upper chambers of the heart (the atria) beat irregularly (quiver) instead of beating effectively to move blood into the ventricles. If a clot breaks off, enters the bloodstream and lodges in an artery leading to the brain, a stroke results. About 15–20 percent of people who have strokes have this heart arrhythmia. This clot risk is why patients with this condition are put on blood thinners.

Living with AFib comes with toxic treatment methods that are often inefective and cause other side effects. Ablation, a surgical treatment method is used to scar small areas in your heart that may be involved in your heart rhythm problems. This can prevent the abnormal electrical signals or rhythms from moving through the heart.

Recent research has found that Vitamin C treatment was associated with a significant reduction in postoperative AFib.  Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant, free radical scavenger, and anti-inflammatory agent. Because oxidative stress and free radicals may play an important role in initiating and maintaining AFib, vitamin C is a pharmacologic possibility for prophylaxis of AF after cardiac surgery. Additionally, a recent meta-analysis found that treatment with vitamin C significantly reduced the risk of AF after cardiac surgery.

If you are looking for a way to manage your AFib without using harmful treatment methods we offer "Heart Healthy" I.V. Therapies. They are great for cardiovascular support and high in heart healthy nutrients such as carnitine and arginine to support nitric-oxide pathways. The drip takes no longer than two hours. We can add injectable homeopathic medicines from Germany to individualize your protocol and address your specific cardiac issues.

Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is one of the most accessible anti-oxidants and comes in several forms.  Real deficiency means real interventions now.  We offer Vitamin C I.V. mega drips.
