Cytomegalovirus and a Late in Life Boost - I.V. Ozone and Natural Anti-Virals

Cytomegalovirus, do you have it?Probably.

There is about a 50% chance you already have cytomegalovirus and that's OK, it is pretty harmless in healthy adults.

While it has been long believed that this virus weakens the immune system in older people, testing on mice has found the opposite and that somehow the virus is giving the immune system a "late-stage" boost, i.e. in old age it may help boost immune function.

Those infected with CMV may feel like the bug has passed after the initial minor flu-like symptoms but as a member of the herpes family, it sticks with you for life. Researchers set out to find out the long term affects of the disease.  While there are not typically outward symptoms there is still no cure meaning our immune system is forever dealing with the virus.

To study its effects, the team infected older mice with CMV and then introduced listeria to see how they would cope, finding that the CMV affected mice managed to fight off the virus better than the control group. Although researchers arent sure exactly how it helped, they did spot differences in the T-cells of the CMV mice. The greater the diversity of T-cells in the body, the better prepared to fight off different infections. It has been long thought that this diversity drops as we age "but the researchers found that both groups of mice had fairly diverse T-cells. Instead, the perceived dropoff is because not all of them are charging into battle against infection. CMV seems to help with that, somehow." (Irving, 2018)

We have tested thousands of patients for CMV as it is generally a part of the total body viral burden that affects immune function. We offer low, medium and high dose Vitamin C drips, I.V. Curcumin, Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Meyer's Cocktail with Glutathione and I.V. Ozone MAH and aggressive 10 pass MAH with German biologic immunotherapies to repair the immune system. Many patients with Lyme or autoimmune diseases are postive for CMV. Changing your diet is key, repairing the gut microbiome, taking natural anti-virals, supplements for the eyes and I.V. therapies are great treatment options to erradicate and or reduce CMV viral loads.
